Issue with labVIEW executable and Windows 11

Rick71

Question

Hi,

I created an application with LabVIEW 2020 32 bits on Windows 10.

The pc is upgraded to Windows 11 and the application no longer runs.

I created a 64 bit version, but the executable doesn't run.

as I was troubleshooting, I tried to run the Example USB-2416TCandVolts_LV9.llb from this page : ULx for NI LabVIEW: Measuring Temp and Volts With USB-2416 and 2408 - Digilent Reference

But I received a message sayiong that .net class is not available.

Are there any known issues when creating executable with LabVIEW 2020 64 bit on windows 11 ?

Hello @Rick71.

I am aware of such issue and am unable to reproduce the .net class error on my Windows 11 64-bit OS system with NI LabVIEW 2023 Q1 (64-bit), InstaCal v6.74, ULx for NI LabVIEW v2.29, and the USB2416T&V_LV9.vi example.  I downloaded the example from the reference page and opened the .llb in NI LabVIEW 2023 Q1 (64-bit) to access the .vi example.  The .vi example tested fine before creating the executable in LabVIEW.  The executable worked as well.

Please verify you have InstaCal v6.74 and ULx for NI LabVIEW v2.29 installed.  Refer to my earlier post for links to download the current versions.

Please provide screen captures of your steps to build the executable if the issue continues.

Fausto
