DAQ Product suggestion with 14 analog inputs

I am using Labview 2019. I have 14 pairs Photoelectric Switch Sensor (link) to detect the movement of fish between tanks in a experiment. Which product would have enough channels to detect the signal from all of them? Would USB-1608G work? it has 8 differential channels but 16 SE if I understand it right? could I use the 16SE channels for this?

Hello @Math808.

You can configure the analog input channels of the USB-1608G to be in single-ended mode, for 16 analog input channels. 

However, if you are only detecting ON/OFF (TTL) signals, then you could use the USB-1024LS digital I/O device.

That is great news cause I have a USB-1608G available right now. Can you tell me or is there a guide somewhere that can help me configure the analog input channels of the USB-1608G to be in single-ended mode? Right now I can only see channels 0-7, so the 8 differential channels.

Connect the USB-1608G to a Windows system and run MCC's InstaCal utility to configure the analog input mode.
