JTAG-HS3 Programming Cable and software clarification

I am looking for an alternative for the Xilinx platform cable where I found JTAG-HS3 Programming Cable this I need to know more about this hardware like which software I can use and whether it works as Xilinx platform cable means Boundary scan will work with this or not at the some time which software i need to use for this

You may find the Comparison Chart helpful regarding software compatibility, https://digilent.com/reference/programmers/start, as well as the Supported Target Devices section of the Reference Manual (curated and provided to Digilent by Xilinx), https://digilent.com/reference/programmers/jtag-hs3/reference-manual#supported_target_devices, which notably and perhaps relevant to you based on your other thread notes that the Xilinx 9500 and 9500XL CPLDs are not able to be targeted by the JTAG HS3.

I believe you can do boundary scan with the JTAG HS3, but Digilent does not have direct support for this.
