ARTY A7-100T Dev Board no longer powers on

Philip Davey

Question

Hi there,

When using the ARTY A7-100T board, I have found that when plugging in the device via micro usb, the power good LEDs no longer turn on and the board is unresponsive. I have tried multiple USB cables, as well as different PCs to power the board.

Is this able to be covered under the device warranty?

Thanks

I would also try out the 7V-15V power input instead of the USB.

After probing some voltages on the board, I have found that the buck converter on the board seems to be bust - It is receiving the 5V input but does not seem to be supplying the 3v3, 1v8 and 1v0 outputs correctly.
