Unable to Install Universal Library for Windows on Windows XP PRO (SP3)

Hi All;

 

We have been trying to load the current download version of the MCCDAQ program on a restaged windows XP machine.  The Universal Libraries alway fails install with a install error ID: 11708 in the event viewer.  We have tried running as administrator  without success.

 

Do we need to be using an older version of the software?

 

Suggestions?  Please Help

Hello @Captain America.

Please download and install a previous release of the MCCDAQ CD.  Try version 6.60.  If that does not resolve your issue, then go back further to version 5.72.  If you continue to have issues installing the MCCDAQ CD, then try installing an older version of InstaCal.  If that does not resolve your issue, then try a different Windows PC.

Which MCC device are you using?
