SKWen
Hello, I am using COMD A7-35T to verify IPs. Is there possible that the module to create the clock of 800MHz? I need a serial clock output of 200MHz by dividing the 800MHz clock. The Xilinx DS181, table 37 shows the specification of MMCM, the MMCM Fout(max) is up to 800MHz. I am not sure if the speed is too fast for the FPGA XC7A35T? The clock source of CMOD A7-35T is an oscillator of 12MHz, I guess that is both for FTDI and FPGA using by default. I noticed that there is a 'IC4' on the back side of PCB, and IC4 is not present. If I installing an oscillator of 100MHz on IC4, and using Vivado clk_wiz, is it possible to generate clock of 800MHz? I need some specific suggestion, and how to implement via the block design of Vivado? Thank you very much. SK.
