Hi all, I'm just getting started with WaveForms so please be patient with the basic question...
I am trying to set up a capture with Digital Discovery such that when the trigger condition (edge) for either of two DIO channels is met, the capture starts for both. It is critical that the capture for both channels starts at exactly the same time.
"The overall trigger condition is built by AND-ing all level conditions together with the result of OR between edge conditions of each pin."
I do not understand the first portion of the sentence (regarding AND-ing). However, the second portion of the sentence seems to clearly suggest that if there are multiple channels, each with a trigger configured, then the capture will start for all channels when ANY of the trigger conditions is met.
Can anyone please confirm that this is the correct interpretation or provide a more detailed explanation of the first portion of the sentence from the reference manual?

The WaveForms Reference Manual states that:

However, the second portion of the sentence seems to clearly suggest that if there are multiple channels, each with a trigger configured, then the capture will start for all channels when ANY of the trigger conditions is met.

Thanks!
