Programming FGPA of Analog Discovery 2 directly

Hi all,

I am wondering if it is possible to program the FPGA of Analog Discovery 2 by myself using Xilinx design suite. My goal is to obtain analog input from ADC and perform some simple digital processing then output some digital control signal. But I need to do it in realtime, meaning can't be done using the computer to collect ADC output, process data on computer, then send signal through USB. Has anyone tried to do this? Thanks!

Hello,

Unfortunately no. The Analog Discovery (1 & 2) and EExplorer devices are not intended for development board, the schematic/pinout is not public.
Could you tell me what kind of simple processing and control signal you need?

Hi,

No, but you can use only the min or max from min/max sample pairs and ignore the unneeded ones.

I know, but the problem is when using min/max filter it is doing it in blocks. So for the first block it outputs the min only, for the second block the max only, ...
