DT9857E: Adjusting cutoff frequency for analog anti-aliasing filter

jmetz

Question

I am using the DT9857E 16 channel DAQ with the QuickDAQ software to collect accelerometer data using PCB Piezotronics 356A32 accelerometers. These accelerometers have a resonant frequency at 25kHz, and I'm wondering how the analog anti-aliasing filter cutoff frequency can be set on the DT9857E to make sure any accelerations from the 25kHz and higher harmonics (50kHz, 75kHz, 100kHz) are not aliased into the data.

Is the analog anti-aliasing filter cutoff frequency just a function of sampling rate used to acquire data in QuickDAQ? Or is there a way to specify the value for the cutoff frequency?
