The AD3 features list describes the two analog waveform generators as +/-5 volt outputs. I’ve not been ableto find associated information on current capabilities or limits for these channels.
I’d like to know the maximum current available on both AWG output channels and whether the device imposes a current limit on these outputs.
I’d like to drive two wire coils, one per channel. As the resistance of coils is very small I’m concerned with damaging the output hardware. If I know the current limit I’ll add resistanceto limit the output current to a safe range.
