MCC 134 Board not responding error

egolfbr

Question

I have a similar issue where I have 4 thermocouple boards with all channels hooked up. I try and collect data overnight and it errors out after about 5 mins or so with  daqhats.hats.HatError: Addr 3: Board not responding. Not sure if this means anything but I am skipping reading anything from board on Addr 2 for now since I don't need those sensors yet. Do these boards need to be read in order to keep them "active" is there a sleep mode or something I am unaware of?

Hello @egolfbr.

Are you able to run multiple MCC 134 boards on your RPi module during the day for a longer period?

Which RPi module and OS are you using?

The MCC 134 DAQ HATs do not need to be read in order and they do not have a sleep mode.

Does your RPi enter a sleep mode with no user activity?

Regards,

Fausto
