Driving digilent with matlab

I want to be able to send manual triggers to digilent using matlab. how would I go about doing this? Please provide a function that reads the digilent equipment, then sends a manual trigger. Assuming the digilent has the output loaded.

Are you currently using a Digilent device?

Will the Digilent device be receiving TTL level signal pulses?

What do you intend to output?
