MCC 128 scanning at +- 2 V when input range is set to "AnalogInputRange.BIP_1V"

I am running a scan to record and graph data from an analog input on a DAQ HAT MCC 128. As the title says, when i have the analog input range set to BIP_1V, I am instead receiving data as +- 2V. Any clue on what to modify and/or change to make it +-1V instead?

Using the 'a_in_range_write(AnalogInputRange.BIP_1V)' method should do it.
