I would like to generate some 1553 messages and its unclear how to proceed. A description of 1553 can be found at this wikipedia link 1553 Overview.
The pattern generator can do manchester encoding, but its not clear how the 3us sync pattern at the start could be generated. The sync is not a valid manchester code.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Related, I'd like to do the reverse at some point and be able to decode 1553 messages. The glscopeclient project at this git hub link , looks like it should work with the Discovery 2. Does anyone have experience doing so?
