No device detected after previously working

rfenno

Question

Within the last year, we bought an Analog Discovery 2 form Digikey and it seemed to work fine. However, just recently it seems to have broken and won't connect to any devices at all (says no devices found when clicking "Find Device" in device manager). Would it be best to return it under warranty or is there an easier fix for this problem?

Sorry if this is the wrong spot to post this, and thank you for the help.

Hi @rfenno,

If you have gone through the troubleshooting steps outlined by the WaveForms developer in the first post in this thread: https://forum.digilent.com/topic/35-analog-discovery-troubleshooting/, with the biggest culprits that I would be checking (based on your description) to be to try a different USB cable and USB port (I've had both die on me before), then I would recommend finding out what Digikey's RMA process is as you purchased the product from them (they would then do their own RMA separately with Digilent).

Let me know what you find out.

Thanks,
JColvin

We had tried out the troubleshooting steps and none had provided any solution so we have reached out DigiKey to begin their RMA process. Thank you for the help with this and speedy response!
