DAQami can't record over 2 channels at the sametime

shuaiwangwpi

Question

we are doing research and using DAQami to record the voltages through USB DAQ channel.

The DAQAMI works well when we record 2 channels (30v each) at the same time. However, the DAQAMI can't record more than 2 channels of data, the third channel just shows a straight line (see attached picture). we diagnose all the channels and they work well individually.

channel we are using: https://microdaq.com/measurement-computing-usb-2408-2ao-daq.php

Could you please give us some suggestions and we really want to record 8 channels simultaneously.

I appreciate your help.

Hello @shuaiwangwpi

Acquiring data from all channels should not be an issue.

Which versions of Windows, InstaCal, and DAQami do you have installed?

Please reply with your DAQami config file, .amicfg.

Regards,

Fausto

Hi i am using Windows 10, DAQami version 4.2.1f0, drivers: version 6.55

When connecting to the third channel, the DAQami can't record and only show a straight line.

Hello @shuaiwangwpi.

Your USB-2408 (s/n 18B4633) dates back to circa September 2013 and you are using an older driver.

Are all four selected analog input channels (1, 2, 3, 5) configured as voltage type, 1000 Hz data rate, differential mode, and +/-10 V?

Please close DAQami, download the current release 6.75 of the MCC DAQ software, and install the included applications.

Afterwards, launch DAQami and create a new configuration to test your USB-2408.

Is your issue only with the third channel, which happens to be analog input channel 3?

Fausto
