Which language is recommended for Waveforms SDK? And if I use Python which IDE is recommended?

For Analog Discovery 2, until now I was using Waveforms script to make measuring program, now I want to develop measuring program by Waveforms SDK.
So which language is recommended? (C, C#, python, vb)
If I choose Python which IDE is recommended? For example Anaconda, Eclipse, or something. I prefer free IDE.

Hi @AlexMark6,

I don't think there is a preferred language (outside of the one you are most comfortable with). All the languages (or at least examples built into WaveForms) use the same underlying functions.

Regarding the IDE, I imagine you can use whatever you like. I'm not a power user with WaveForms SDK, so I usually just make a local copy of one of the built in examples and then make the changes I want in Notepad++.
