Installing on Linux, 4x USB-1208HS

KnoKnot

Question

Tried to get MCC support for installing the required SW to control and operate my USB-1208HS DAQ.

I'm referring to installing it on Linux (debian), as native app, not using wine.

-Any proven solution to do this is welcome.

Please refrain from suggestions such as "install windows".

Thanks.

Hello @KnoKnot.

The USB-1208HS is supported by MCC's UL for Linux.

https://www.mccdaq.com/PDFs/Manuals/Linux-hw.pdf

Please visit the MCC's uldaq repository on GitHub (https://github.com/mccdaq/uldaq) and follow the instructions in the Readme.md to get started.

Afterwards, connect one USB-1208HS device and test the included examples.  Once you are successful with one device, then add the others.

Programming Help files:

https://www.mccdaq.com/PDFs/Manuals/UL-Linux/c/index.html

Dear Fausto,

Thanks for the reference.

It will take me a while to go through everything, and I hope this enables me to resolve my issues.

If some issues persist, I will try and ask you for directions.

Thanks.
