Question

Hello,

I would like to know if by any chance it is possible to simulate a DT9812.
Our goal is to produce an extremely simple simulator for our device, which contains a couple of hardware components.
It would allow us to test our entire software stack, without relying on the full hardware configuration.

While most of the components can be simulated (local modbus, virtual serial ports) I'm unsure about the DT9812...

Thank you very much for your help,
Philippe Mazouer

Hello @Philippe Mazouer.

Unlike the DEMO-BOARD option available with MCC's InstaCal, Data Translation does not have a simulation device.

Create a buffer of data points for your software to read.  A DT9812 acquires data which gets saved to buffers for an application to use.

Fausto
