Help with wiring

Efren

Question

Need help with wiring USB-1024LS to a Comrex Access Portable to send contact closures. I used to use USB-PDIS08 for the same purpose but that unit stopped working. The wiring is different on the units...where I need help. This is how I had the wiring for the old unit.

Hello @Efren.

Your image shows wiring connected to the Form C relay output terminals, on the USB-PDIS08 module.  https://www.mccdaq.com/pdfs/manuals/USB-PDISO8.pdf

What are the signal specs from your Comrex Access Portable?

The USB-1024LS does not have relays.  https://www.mccdaq.com/pdfs/manuals/USB-1024LS.pdf

With the USB-1024LS, a user can configure a port to be digital outputs.  For example, a user can use the DAQami software and configure Port A to be output channels.  Next, connect a volt meter to Port A0 (pin 21) and GND (pin 29).  Toggle this port channel to be ON and the volt meter will display around +5V.  Will this setup work with your Comrex Access Portable?

Regards,

Fausto
