ARTY (Artix-7 FPGA XC7A35T ) Board not recognized

Dear Sir,

 

I have installed Vivado Design Suite on my Laptop, but When I connect it to Arty (Artix-7 FPGA XC7A35T ) board through USB/UART port it is not recognized. My understanding is that when Vivado is installed, ARTY would be automatically detected. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Is the board powering on? How is the board recognized in the Device Manager?

It may sometimes happen that some of the drivers are not installed correctly or that there is a physical failure with the board or the cable.

You are correct. Problem was the USB A to MicroB Cable. Once I replaced the cable, ARTY is being detected.
