tcairns Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 What is the Accuracy formula for the thermocouple for the USB-2408-2AO? 1% of reading + 1°C? If I was to measure -100°C what would my tolerance be for type J thermocouple?
0 Fausto Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Hello @tcairns. An accuracy formula nor a table of the full temperature range are not available. At -100°C, a typical accuracy error of +/-1% would be reasonable. You will also need to add the error of your thermocouple as well. The thermocouple vendor typically provides that information. Regards, Fausto
0 tcairns Posted February 16, 2023 Author Posted February 16, 2023 Could you use the forecast function in excel to get the tolerance values for each temperature range?
0 Fausto Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 It is nonlinear. If your tests will always be at a given temperature, with the same USB-2408-2AO module, and the same thermocouples, then you can measure and create your own custom table.
