Nik Minions
I have several PDISO8 boards that are no longer connecting properly to my PC (not an issue before). I have tried reinstalling the MCCDAQ software but no luck. is this just a hardware issue and i need to buy new boards?
0 DAQman
Hello, Check the external power supply and make sure it's 9 volts. The USB-PDISO8 uses the Windows HID driver. Starting with Windows 8.1, HID devices require the HIDRegUpdater to run. This is a utility that changes a value in the registry so that Windows leaves the device active. The updater is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Measurement Computing\DAQ\. You might want to run and make sure it indicates no update needed. We do not offer repair service for USB-PDISO8 so if all else fails you could buy a new one. https://www.mccdaq.com/usb-data-acquisition/USB-PDISO8-Series.aspx Best regards, John
