Lag in displaying analog data

I have a 1208LS usb daq.  I've got it connected to an Instron 8800 servohydraulic test frame and am using the analog output from the 8800 to feed load cell voltage to the 1208.

I've noticed that there is significant lag between when the load cell begins to send data to the 1208 and when the data is displayed within the diagnostic tool within instacal. The time delay is in the order of a few seconds.

I am not sure if there is some oversampling or averaging occurring that is causing this lag?  I've verified that the analog voltage being fed into the 1208 is changing in real time.

Hello @Tim-XTC.

Reference the example on page 5 of the attached PDF.  You may need to adjust your settings; i.e. scan rate, sample/channel.

Alternatively, consider using MCC's DAQami software for your acquisition tests.
