CB.CFG not found

I have two programs on a windows 10 computer. one written in vb.net and the other in VB6

The program written in vb.net wants the file to be in C:\ProgramData\Measurement Computing\DAQ and the VB6 program wants the file to be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Measurement Computing\DAQ.

what can I do to have both of my programs work?

I am using a miniLAB 1008, and Instacal version 6.51

Hello @mwolkon.

You should only have one cb.cfg file on your system and preferably residing in the 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Measurement Computing\DAQ' folder.  Update your VB.NET program with this folder location.

then why is Instacal putting the file in C:\ProgramData\Measurement Computing\DAQ?

My bad.  I had another file on my mind.  As you stated, the cb.cfg resides in the 'C:\ProgramData\Measurement Computing\DAQ' folder.
