SDI_Chuck
in my project I use DaqOutScan() with the 2500 boards. We are trying to migrate to the 2600 boards but this function is not used by the 2600 boards. Is there a compatible function for DaqOutScan() for the 2600 boards? Examples? 0 Fausto
Hello @SDI_Chuck. As you have discovered, the DaqOutScan() function is not supported by the USB-2600 Series boards. There is no alternate option to clock the analog output channels and digital output ports, on a USB-2600 Series board. 0 SDI_Chuck
Well, this puts us in a critical production situation since the 2500 boards are difficult to purchase as well as being phased out. The 2600 series has been suggested as a replacement but if it doesn't support synchronous IO it doesn't seem to be a very good replacement. Is there a workaround software solution for this? Is there an example?
0 Fausto
Hello @SDI_Chuck. There is no software workaround. Here is a list of boards that support the DaqOutScan() function. Regards, Fausto
0 SDI_Chuck
This is unfortunate. Please inform the sales people that the 2600 series boards are not a suitable replacement for the 2500 series if synchronous I/O is a requirement.
