qmn
Dear community, I have an usb-2416 data acquisition module, and it's not detected through the USB (based on Windows' Device Manager) I have tried different PCs, different version of of Windows (10, XP), Linux, to no avail. I also tried different usb cables so that's not the cause. The Activity LED never turn on, and Computer never notice a device is plugged in. Any pointer? 0 Fausto
Hello @qmn. Please download and install the MCC DAQ software, on your Windows OS system. https://www.mccdaq.com/downloads/MCCDaqCD/mccdaq.exe Connect the external power supply and USB cable to the USB-2416 module. Afterwards, run the InstaCal utility. Regards, Fausto

0 Fausto
Hello @qmn. Are you using the original external power supply and USB cable which shipped with the USB-2416 module? Are you connecting the USB cable directly to the Windows system or to a USB hub? Disconnect both the external power supply and USB cable from the USB-2416. Next, connect the USB cable first and then the external power supply. If InstaCal is unable to detect the module, then disconnect both and connect the external power supply first, followed by the USB cable. If InstaCal continues to not detect the USB-2416, then we will take this offline to be sent in for repair. Regards, Fausto
