Reading from PmodSF

Hi guys,

I am having difficulty reading data (even one byte)  from the flash memory (ST25P16) on PmodSF.  I am using Microchip microstick 2 MCU (dspic33fj128mc802).  I can read the manufacturer's ID, memory type etc. but no data I write.

Anyone else has any problem with this flash memory?

A couple quick questions: 1) What are you using for a controller?  2) Have you disabled the write protection and issued a write-enable-latch command?  3) Can you read the status register after writing to the flash, and if so, does it list any errors?
