WebDAQ 316 not powering up

AbeM

Question

I'm having issues powering on my WebDAQ 316. I've been using it for a few tests and the last time I used it was a few weeks ago. Today I tried to use it and followed the proper way to set it up and it didn't turn on. I was thinking if their is a fuse I need to change...maybe. I'm not sure. I'd really appreciate some help with this. Thank you.

Hello @AbeM.

Are you using the original external AC power adapter that shipped with the WebDAQ 316?

There is no user replaceable fuse.

Do any of the LED come on when the external power supply is connected?

Are the POWER or FUNC buttons stuck?

Did the WebDAQ 316 experience a power surge?

Do you have another external power adapter (6-16 VDC; 1 A MAX) to test?

What other details can you provide?

If you have exhausted your troubleshooting and want to send the device in for repair, then we can take this offline.

Thank you for the quick response Fausto. For the questions, yes I am using the power supply that came with the WebDAQ I recently just used it and many times before.

When connected to the power supply, no LED's turn on. I've used the power supply to charge another device to make sure it is working properly.

The Function but are also operating just fine and are not stuck in any way.

I'm not sure if the WebDAQ experienced a power surge, but I highly doubt that is the case.

Yes I have 2 power supplies that I tried out and neither worked.

If we can possibly take this offline to discuss more about repairs that would be highly appreciated.

Thank you,

Abraham
