crepsher
My company is using a USB 205 and we were wondering what type of circuit to use to test an input of a 4-20mA analog sensor that takes 10 to 30 vdc. Or if there is anything that specifically reads the outputs of a 4-20mA analog sensor
0 Fausto
Hello @crepsher. Use a 250 Ω precision resistor to convert the 4-20 mA current signal to a 1 to 5 VDC voltage signal input to the USB-205 module. Connect the resistor across the CH# and AGND terminals. Afterwards, you will need to convert the voltage data back to current values by dividing each data point by 250 Ohms. Regards, Fausto
