Adding Buttons/Knobs to Analog Discovery 2

Hello, 

Is there a way to add buttons/knobs to AD2? my goal is to add knobs to adjust the time base/range settings of the scope. I came across this tutorial : Adding Knobs To The Analog Discovery 2 – Digilent Blog . but I would like to take advantage of the waveforms software/scripts.

Hi @Dante,

There is not a way to physically add knobs to the Analog Discovery 2 that I am aware of; it is likely possible to do this in LabVIEW (I'm not certain on this, though there are some instructions on using the AD2 in LabVIEW here https://forum.digilent.com/topic/20241-labview/), which would be taking advantage of the WaveForms SDK material.

I do not believe there are any plans to add this particular UI view in WaveForms itself though since adjusting knobs with a computer mouse is not exactly user friendly.
