Hi,

I am using cora Z7, I created a new linux machine using ubuntu 16.04.

I am following the instruction from https://github.com/Digilent/Petalinux-Cora-Z7-10

I installed petalinux version 2017.4.

i downloaded the bsp file from the above mentioned link mentioned.

while I have given the petalinux-build, I got the following error

"u-boot-xlnx-v2017.01-xilinx-v2017.4+gitAUTOINC+4a34620027-r0 do_fetch: Fetcher failure: Unable to find revision 4a3462002712c18b9b2c7f8732967aa66f3adb51 in branch master even from upstream
ERROR: u-boot-xlnx-v2017.01-xilinx-v2017.4+gitAUTOINC+4a34620027-r0 do_fetch: Fetcher failure for URL: 'git://github.com/digilent/u-boot-digilent.git;protocol=https;branch=master'. Unable to fetch URL from any source.
"

Please suggest the fix for this.

thank you.

Hi @Zafar,

I'm taking a look into the issue and see if I can recreate it following your steps. One quick question however: What is the version of the git tools that you are using?

Thank you for your patience @Zafar.

I'm waiting to hear back from an engineer on the best course of action for you to take. What I've found is that the commit that hash references doesn't belong to any branch in the repository. I've asked for a suitable replacement that you can use. If you wish to continue without having to wait, visit https://github.com/digilent/u-boot-digilent, select a commit you wish to use and note it down (or copy it to your clipboard). Then, in the petalinux project, run petalinux-config, select Linux Components Selection > Remote u-boot settings and then update the Remote u-boot Git Tag/commit with the one you copied.

Best regards,
AndrewHolzer
