Eugene Shin
Complete newbie here. Recently bought AD2 BNC probe package Do I have to use the BNC adaptor probe when measuring signals with low voltages (3.3V) or is the 2x15 flywires good enough? What is the purpose of the probe other than attenuating high voltage signals so the AD2 could handle it? Will I ever need the probe if I build and test circuits that will operate at 3.3V or 5V levels?
0 attila
Hi @Eugene Shin The 10x probe advantage beside attenuation is that it reduces the (resistive and capacitive) load on the signal and it offers higher bandwidth.
