I recently bought a Baysis 3 board, unfortunately the Adept software (most recent version) does not detect the board.

Hi @Nicholas Mokrycke,

I apologize for the delay. I don't know your exact setup, but have a few troubleshooting questions for you.

- Are you connected to the Basys 3 through the microUSB port on J4 (as opposed the larger USB connector on J2)?
- Is the board detected in the Device Manager if you are on Windows or through lsusb if you are Linux? On a Windows system, the Basys 3 should appear as USB Serial Converter A and USB Serial Converter B with a Bus reported device description of "Digilent USB Device", much like in this post: https://forum.digilentinc.com/topic/21713-brand-new-basys-3-user-cant-get-vivado-to-see-it/#comment-62685.
- If the board is not showing up in the Device manager/ device list, I would recommend trying a different micro USB cable and/or a different USB port. Some cables only provide power and not data and a USB port can die; I've personally experienced both situations.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
JColvin
