Connecting a GPS Transmitter to a PMOD GPS Receiver

I could use some guidance regarding connecting a GPS transmitter to my PMOD GPS device.

I have a Digilent PMOD GPS Receiver connected to a ZedBoard and I have purchased a HackRF device to generate GPS sentences for test and debug scenarios.

I expect that if I want to connect these devices directly, some attenuation will be required, but I need to know a bit more about what the J4 Header can take, so I don't damage the receiver.

Anyone know where I might find the necessaries details?
