Orvillefpike Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Does the Open Logger come with the software to read the logged information?
vicentiu Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Yes. You can download the sources here: https://github.com/digilent/dlog-utils A windows executable is here.
Orvillefpike Posted September 26, 2019 Author Posted September 26, 2019 I'm contemplating buying a Open Logger so I'm curious to see what comes with it. Does the Windows executable have graphics to compare different data logged? Thanks
vicentiu Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 The windows executable is a command line tool to convert the logs stored by the Open Logger from a binary format to a CSV format.
vicentiu Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 When you say "what comes with it", are you referring to physical items that come in the box, or are you referring to sofware?
Orvillefpike Posted September 27, 2019 Author Posted September 27, 2019 M. Vicentiu, So there are no software to display the data in a graphic like it's shown in the description of the product? Sorry to be so slow to understand. I know what a .csv file is though... Thanks.
vicentiu Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 Yes there is, but that is not software that is installed on your computer. It runs in the browser by connecting to waveformslive.com You can play around with the interface by adding a simulated OpenLogger device.
Orvillefpike Posted September 27, 2019 Author Posted September 27, 2019 M. Vicentiu. Thanks. I hope I remember this the day I purchase an OpenLogger.
