moe
I have Multi-Touch Display Shield attached to Arty board. Playing with examples from https://github.com/Digilent/vivado-library/tree/master/ip/Pmods/PmodMTDS_v1_0/drivers/PmodMTDS_v1_0/examples I've noticed that the text examples are printed upsidedown. Is there way to fix this programmatically?
D@n
@moe, "Is there a way to fix this programmatically?" Yes! That's the fun part about working with FPGA's and embedded microcontrollers: you have all the source code and you are free to modify it at will! If you want to flip the examples in both X and Y axes, you can do so! Interested in connecting the MTDS to a camera and displaying the camera's outputs? You can do that too! You can also rotate images clockwise or counterclockwise by 90 degrees, or even by 3.8 degrees if you'd rather. Want to zoom in or out on a larger image? You can do that too! This is the fun part of working with hardware such as Digilent supplies: the possibilities are as endless as both your imagination and your desire to learn. Digilent provides you with the tools you need to accomplish your task: both the hardware for your purpose and an example design that shows you how to use the hardware. Even better, the example design will convince you that your hardware is working. Getting the example design to do that special processing that you want it to do ... well ...that's your task. Dan P.S. No, I don't work for Digilent
