Analog Discovery 1 vs Discovery 2

Is AD 2 compatible with Matlab? Is there any feature that AD1 has but AD2 does not have?
For the Part Kits, are these two compatible with analog discovery?

I don't believe there is any Matlab support for the Analog Discovery 2 at this point (see this thread).

I'm not sure as to the hardware differences between the AD1 and AD2 in regards to what the AD1 has available to which the AD2 does not. If you find it helpful though, a documentation list of the differences between the old Waveforms and the new Waveforms 2015 can be found on our Wiki here.

Yes, you could use both of those part kits with the Analog Discovery (both 1 and 2) and be able to perform measurements on them.

I'm not sure what you mean by "everything", but the myParts Kit does have a larger amount of components. You can see a list of what components those two kits have on their product pages that you linked to.
