davep238
I can't tell from the descriptions what the difference is between these 2 JTAG programming cable. They both seem to work with iMPACT and Adept and both have the 6-pin Digilent and 2x7 pin Xilinx connectors. The HS2 is $60 vs the HS1 which is $99. So what does the HS1 have that the HS2 doesn't? -Dave Pollum
davep238
Because I didn't get an answer here, I contacted the company. Here is the reply: Hello,JTAG-HS2 is a updated version for JTAG-HS1. We also recommend to buy JTAG-HS2 because this is newer than JTAG-HS1. The difference is that those contains other main chip. The following features are not supported by the Digilent Cables: • Xilinx 9500/9500XL CPLD programming or configuration • Xilinx 1700 or 18V00 ISP configuration PROM programming or configuration • Xilinx FPGA eFUSE programming Remote device configuration , more details:http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx13_4/pim_r_supportedcables.htm .Best RegardsCristian Ignat
