rp-prew
Dear Vardhan, A metal casing would actually help reduce any em fields that happen to be enacting on the Analog Discovery. The metal casing would be used as a sort of Faraday cage around the system. The closer a Faraday cage is to the unit it is shielding the more effective it will be. Since this product is mostly a student tool there seemed to be no need to add a higher shielding unit to the device. You could still keep the plastic casing a then put a smaller metal casing on the inside. The only problem with making a metal casing is that it would make the Analog Discovery pricier. We try to make our products as affordable as possible. Best Regards, Bobby
