How to access IQ data of Kuiper Linux Zedboard?

I've got a question posted in the engineer zone but I assume someone has done this before since its a natural first step. -
I've got a Zedboard+fbmcomms2 with Kuiper linux that I am trying to access the raw IQ data on. I know that linux is getting it because it displays on the IIO oscilloscope software. How is Kuiper Linux accessing this data? I presume its through this file: https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/iio-oscilloscope/blob/main/plugins/fmcomms2.c
