  1. Who ever faces same issue as below please read it might save you time and fraustration. Issue: Digilent Cmod-A7 board won't be detected by Vivado software (nor by Windows itself in Device Manager). Solution: Buy a new micro-USB cable and try again, while the board is not connected to any exteran devices. Possible root cause: When loading the board power supply too much using USB source, it seems to damage the cable (is there a chip/componenet inside the cable?) in such a way the cable is able to deliver the 5V power supply but wont be able to communicate with any device connected to it (Do provide power but no data transfer). Hope this helps you folks out there :)
