  1. Hi attila, thanks again for your feedback. I've run a couple of tests and and got something better. I tried the AD2 with a 5V aux and both scope channels work, however I had to turn the power off quickly because the IC shown in the picture gets extremely hot. It seems to the ADA4051-2, right? I cannot buy one of this in Brazil and have to order from some place in USA. Do you think this should solve the problem? Is there any other component that could have been damaged? Thanks
  2. Hi @attila Thanks for your reply. I have installed the new version of WF; now the error is this one: I tried the "Force Programming" as per the other post and got this: Any hint about possibles damaged components that I should look at? Thanks Elmo
  3. I had a Analog Discovery 2 which was working fine until it stopped being recognized by the Waveforms software. I was measuring an audio signal when it stopped working. After plugging it in this message pops up in Waveforms (file attached) Communication with the device failed DeptIO failed ERC:2 out:8 in:28 Device status failed. In Waveforms, after selecting the device (file attached) I get this pop up: DeptIO failed ERC:2 out:8 in:8 Device configuration failed (PLL 2) USB: 5.05V 55mA AUX:0.00V 0mA I am using Windows 11/64 bit computer and this unit was working normally before giving this error. After plugging it in I hear the "Device Connect" sound and "USB Serial Converter" shows up in Windows Device Manager under "USB controllers". I've tested the device in another computer and it also does not work. I have a second unit of AD2 which works normally in the same computer and USB port and with the same USB cable, therefore is not a config/driver or USB port or cable fault. Any hint about what can I do to fix this? If it is a component that needs replacement we may be able to do it here it would be very complicated to send this unit from Brazil to US for repair). Thanks!
