  1. Hello, Is there any update on this topic? Are there good probes available now for AD2 with the BNC adapter? Best regards, Ákos
  2. Hi @JColvin and @attila, Any Idea, how to proceed now?
  3. Hello, This morning I received the replacement probes from Mouser. They sent me 2 pairs (a total of 4 probes). They are the same kind with red switch for selecting attenuation. Out of the 4, only one is possible to compensate for channel 1, and none of them is good for channel 2. So now I have 6 probes at my hand and I still can not use any of them on channel 2 with 10x attenuation. Can we fix this problem? I do not want to ask for another pair of untested replacements, since so far only 1 out of 6 is good for channel 1, and 0 out of 6 is good for channel 2. Also I found one more complaint for the same looking probes (I believe, the older batches looked different) on youtube, but did not find his support forum topic, I do not know how it played out later, so I guess many defects with this particular set of probes just goes unnoticed.
  4. Szia @attila Thank you for the reply! So the different input capacitances are expected. In my conversation with Mouser, they told me, the shipments are sent straight from their warehouse in Texas US, and they have no way to test it there.
  5. Hello, I bought an Analog Discovery 2 Pro bundle from Mouser, which also includes the BNC adapter, and 2 probes. From the looks of it (P6100 with the red switch for attenuation), I got the same kind of probes, as the guys in the following 2 threads: With the supplied probes in the bundle, I can not trim the probe compensation to get a perfect 1 kHz square wave. I had a chance to try with a Keysight probe, I will provide the best results I was able to get. Test setup with one of the bundled probes. Test setup with the keysight probe. Bundled probe 1 on channel one: Undercompensated Bundled probe 1 on channel 2: More undercompensated Bundled probe 2 on channel 1: Almost good, but still a little undercompensated on max compensation Bundled probe 2 on channel 2: Undercompensated Keysight probe on channel 1: This looks perfect. It was even possible to overcompensate a very little bit on channel 1. But for channel 2, even the Keysight probe's compensation range was not enough. Mouser offered me replacement probes. (Mouser part number: 424-OSC-PROBE ) But I did not yet accept, because I do not know for sure if it will work (especially with channel 2). Is it normal, that Channel 2 requires more compensation? Can you tell it from the pictures above, if channel 2 is also faulty, or just the provided probes are not good for AD2? Best regards, Ákos
