Hi Colvin I would like to do some testing using your software output (FFT results) connecting to MatLab, but don't know what hardware is needed. can you specify the device, the limit and the price? I also would like to filter some of the output result of FFT so that only certain range of frequencies can be processed. is that possible?

Hi, 1- Is it possible to put a filter in the FFT so that to block some results in a certain frequency range (I.E.: 4Hz-30Hz, 800Hz +). 2- How to increase the number of frequencies to track? what's the max limit? 3- Can QuickDaq provide a stream data output (FFT results) to an outside program (such as MatLab)? ok, I don't have the tachometer and I don't need it. Can I plot the FFT curve on the bottom screen, how to bring it up and set up for (amplitude=vert axis, Hz=horizontal axis? ) The top screen I have "g" so it's running a straight line for me now. how do I change the input so that I can see the wave (displacement) lines?

The bottom screen I need to have "amplitude" for the vertical axis, "Hz" for the horizontal axis. this is the conventional view graph for FFT. I don't understand why the Hz becomes vertical axis that's strange. please help. thanks.

yes, I followed, I only get "analog input channels" why?

yes I had the same screen as above. the check mark on the input device. but page 268 showed a different screen I could never get from the program. "IEPE channel" where do I get that?

hello I have purchased the fft portion of the QuickDAQ, but there is only one screen (the time domain) shown I could not see the spectrum screen. please help on how to bring both screens up. also the initial set up for the accelerometer and data translation "DT9837" would require steps of setting up?
