  1. Or is WaveForms the only software compatible with the Analog Discovery 2? Thank you!
  2. Is there a way to record RMS values for only a subset at a time of the currently playing file? We want to be able to ascertain RMS values for each specific frequency range in our file. Thank you!
  3. I am using Analog Discovery 2 for some vibrational playback/recording for animal behavior research. We are playing files in WaveGen, recording them in Scope, and would like to be able to export these recordings into a new .wav file. The seeming issue is that, using the "record to file" option, we do not know how to play our files and start recording them instantaneously. If we start playing our file and then rush to click "record to file," we lose the first few milliseconds of our recording. And the software does not allow us to click "record to file" and then start playing our file. Any suggestions? Thank you so much!
  4. Thank you so much for your suggestions!!!! We are using the original USB cable that came with the device. And this is the window for properties for the undetected device. I do not see the "Advanced" tab or a VCP checkbox as I see in the screenshots from your linked post.
  5. Approximately half the times I plug the Analog Discovery 2 into my (PC) laptop, the WaveForms software cannot detect the device. The same happens on my research advisor's Mac. Of course we have both tested and confirmed that it is not our USB ports that are faulty. What is more worrisome is that, in the middle of usage of the software, the device will occasionally become not detected and unusable again suddenly. Any suggestions?
