Since starting a new project I have everything added back and it doesn't jump around and crash. I have noticed that I can not get the cursors or measurments to work very well. If I do a quick vertical or free measure then it will not lock my measurement where I click. The cursors will not drag were I want them to or jump back to the triggers position. Not sure if it is related or should start a new thread on it. The non-repeat function is working and fixed that issue.

Hard to give you any other information on it because it crashes, but I can reinstall the previous beta and the issue goes away. I am still using the old workspace from the previous version. I started a new workspace and added most of the logic back and haven't seen it popup yet. Video shows me moving mouse with out clicking anywhere in the logic window, it jumps around and crashes. When I tried that version it looked like the repeat function works but now I get lots of crashes in the logic analyzer window. I notice when I move my mouse around it tries to scroll the screen some. Also the position keeps jumping off of zero. I am using the same project from the previous firmware release so not sure if it would still be an issue with a new project. Haven't had time to investigate that because there are lots of patterns I would have to reset up.

On the digital discovery it looks like what happens is when there is another custom waveform that is longer than the others then it causes them to wrap around or repeat. On the adp3450 I have the same configuration and didn't notice the issue. I needed more channels so switch the project to the DD device and it started doing this. Also, unrelated but on the latest version 3.18.30 I noticed it is showing my adp5250 as being available but its not plugged in. Haven't rebooted since the install so that may be it.

When using patterns to generate a custom waveform, It will get repeated 5 times no matter the settings. the same settings work on the ADP3450

Is there a way to export or log the data from the DMM? would like to be able to export a history of the DMM to use for current and resistance instead of voltage using the scope probe.

Is there a way to make the wavegen sweep to a frequency and back instead of just to a frequency and repeat?

I guess it isn't fixed. Once I get the board mounted all back in and housing closed, it has the same issue. Not sure if the board or connector may be flexing a little and causing it to be an issue.

That seemed to do it. Have to get it back together. Is there a way to note that there was an issue and see if this hold up? was a little bit of pain to get that connector to reflow but seems to be working for now.

It was directly from Digilent. Is there a walk-through on the best way to open it up? Reflowing once open shouldn't be a problem and can at least verify if that fixes it before having to ship it.

I already tried that. Took a single loop wire and placed it across D0 to D1-D15 and generated a pattern on D0. All other pins work except D6. If I reflow it does that void warranty because it is only a couple months old and just started using it?

I have purchased an ADP3450 and have not used the logic channels until today. After spending hours trying to troubleshot a bus using the device I have found out that D6 IO is intermittently connected. I can push down on the connection port cable and get a signal. The connection issue is between the internal board and the mail connector jack. It appears all but D6 work. I would like this fixed. What is the best option?

I am using WaveForms 3.17.21 and adp5250. When setting the device option of the 5250's trigger to scope detect, I noticed I do not output triggers to Trig1 port. If I set it to Wavegen C1 then the triggered scope causes triggers to output to Trig1 port. It appears the Scope Detect and WaveGen C1 selections in device options are swapped. I also wished there was more reference material available on trigger modes both as inputs and outputs.

@attila Thanks I appreciate the info. Will there be future development to add patterns and protocol functionality and logger?

I was wanting to order the ADP5250 but noticed that logging does not show up in the demo. I need that feature in the device I use and thought it would be great to now be able to log current as well. Is this feature hidden or just not in the demo device? If it is not available now, is it expected to be pushed into future versions of waveforms?
