implementation of a filter in an FPGA

Good afternoon everyone, I was wondering if someone implements a filter in an FPGA in VHDL language, but that was designed and generated by the FILTER DESIGN HDL CODER tool (Matlab). To help me with some doubts. Thanks

While I've watched others build code with Matlab, I've never done so myself.  Neither do I use VHDL.

That said, you can find descriptions of how to implement fairly generic filters in Verilog here.  That should go over most of the fundamentals.  If the Matlab code is creating VHDL, it should be simple enough to compare to in order to understand what's going on.

I also haven't done any Matlab coding, but in addition to @D@n's materials, it looks like Matlab has some additional resources on using their tool here as well.
