Question

Hello, I have an issue on my target machine I am trying to deploy a program too. After the program runs for approx. 10 minn. the program shuts down and an MCC-DRV error pops up. "The hardware resources are currently in use" When I run the same program on my programing laptop the program runs fine until I stop it.

Target machine

DL full Version 15.1.0.514

UL Version 6.74

DL driver version 15.0.0.0

I found a conversation about something similar using an ERB24 as I recall, the user changed out the USB cable with one that had Ferrite ring cores on both ends, I have some clip-on style ferrite ring, so I tried them and that did nothing for my issue. I have ordered the new USB cable that was called out in the article but won't have it until Friday.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

The USB-ERB24 uses the Windows HID driver for communication. Electrical noise near the USB cable can disrupt communication. Unfortunately, the HID driver is not very robust and cannot recover. Our other devices, like the USB-1608G, use an MCC driver capable of handling errors.

In addition to the USB cable with built-in ferrite filters, the cable and ERB24 should be repositioned away from nearby noise-generating equipment.
