I have recently encountered a semi-reproducible issue averaging data with the Waveforms app. I am recording data from my ADP3450 using Waveforms V3.22.2. I am saving 512Ki samples at 1E8 Hz (so a total of 524288 samples). I trigger on an the ch1 input, record both ch1 and ch2 and stack over 5000 samples. This amount of stacking is necessary to sufficiently improve SNR, so I do not think I can reduce the total averaging. More than half the time I try to record, the averaging gets stuck at 4098 samples (specifically 4098, not any other number) out of the 5000 total desired samples. The app does not freeze and I can still toggle windows or navigate, but it never updates from the 4098. I have the oscope connected via USB.
Any suggestions on what might be causing this problem or how to track down the issue?
